HANDBAGS DESIGNER : Bottom line is that Japanese consumers are really socked in the pocketbook and they don't benefit from the advantages of trade, except theyget to keep their jobs which continues to pay for the rabbit hutchesthat most of them live in. Americans could benefit from working a bitharder, complaining less, and perhaps protecting certain high techindustries which promise the higher paying jobs. I disagree with the tariff plan because it hurts the consumers a lot.Why not tax profits by foreign corporations, cut long term (5+ years)capital gains tax, increase taxes on short term capital gains andincome over $200K which isn't invested, and promote jointindustry-national lab research programs. We might try supporting betterhigh school and college education and inner city education programs andrationing health care, too. After all that, if U.S. companies are stillnot competitive, then we can try high tariffs and trade restrictions.Americans can rely on higher productivity, diversity, and competitivesmall businesses to compete with foreign imports. Heck, eventually,American companies will succeed, even in Japan. Sun Micro is oneexample. Another is Toy R Us which I believe has a store in Tokyo whichtook 11 years to open, but it has opened.

The amazing thingis when you actually read the coupons that they print. This week's ad statesthat the deal is "15% off Any One Item" and they provide 4 coupons. Noticethe word "any". So does the ladies'accessories area (scarves, belts, gloves, hosiery, non-designerhandbags). Men's dress shirts (the regular brands like Arrow or VanHeusen) and probably most slacks (Haggar or the like). As for otherwearables, I think a lot depends on their definition of "designer,"which may or may not be the same as yours or mine. (They may have a listof department numbers that are considered "designer." If they don't,then if you take it up with the store manager or manager on duty youprobably stand a good chance of having it your way.)

Anyone have favorite websites with discounted prices onauthentic designer handbags?Most likely you are not going to find authentic LV on a website (and theyare never sold wholesale) and most of them are indeed fake on yahoo, even ifthe pictures look real because they are most likely stolen off eluxury.com.As for ebay, most are fake, but if you do your research you'll find someauthentic ones, though it'll take some time to search and research. Check for recommended LV sellers on ebay.I think it's pretty risky to buy designer bags from online websites (forsome reason I feel iffy about some of those Guccis on yahoo websites likepursestoday.com, handbagsdiva.com, etc.) and actually think it's better tobuy from ebay as long as you do your homework and make sure the seller hasan excellent reputation, that they "gurantee authenticity," provide arefund, etc. Also, you might want to look for sales on eluxury.com andshopbop.com for Marc Jacobs. The website looks okay(less iffy looking than the yahoo websites), but I am not sure. Good luck!
